Just a quick one from me, saw my consultant yesterday. Got to go in to Kings College hospital within two weeks, as turns out growth on my adrenal gland is cancerous.
Hope that surgery will fix it.
I am okay, just taking one day at a time.
Will keep you updated if I can.

Oh Hilly x Thinking of you x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
  • Love, hugs and positive thoughts for beemuzed and hilstep. I know that the lovely friendship and support on here has been a personal help to me with my illness and I hope it is the same for you.

Halight, I hope you have a wonderful holiday.

Kind thoughts to Hilly and Beemuzed.

I was at work today. It was one of those days where the workload was just about right and there were no problems. The sort of day that comes along once in a blue moon !

I really just wanted to pop in a wish everyone a good weekend. I notice we are having downtime from 7pm tomorrow, so I probably won't get another chance to post before then.

I hope at when they finish tweaking the forum, it'll be something we recognise!

    Evening

Hugs and best wishes to all those that need them at the moment - your virtual friends are thinking of you and are here to support you every step of the way x

Ginto - the remaining creme fraiche can be used in the same way as cream - you can put it on fruit, fruit pies, crumbles. I very often make another pasta dish a couple of days after the first one and use passata and the creme fraiche to make a creamy tomato sauce then add whatever ingredients to that may chicken, ham, different veg, ie, peppers, courgettes etc.
