I want to cry. I was in a position where I could definitely finish 275 on Candy Crush, 6 moves left and one move needed, everything in the right place, and my display driver stops working and restarts, Candy Crush has disappeared and I have to restart

It's a !!!!! of a level, i hate it with a passion. Stupid stupid thing
You have my deepest sympathies :rotfl:
If I cheated I would not feel like I had finished the level/s, half the idea of playing the game is solving the problems presented, and I know cheating is one way of solving them, but I prefer to go the long way round :D

No cheating here either, as much as I hate it. The satisfaction of beating it is awesome :D

Oh it was ! The Daily Mail sold hundreds of extra copies cos twice a week they printed £4 vouchers against books - which T's happily accepted against anything at all. And there were also loads of magazine coupons for anything from £1 to £3 or so - there were ften several of those in the same paper. My weekly shopping, included wine and spirits, came to around £5 maximum. I'm coming over all emotional just thinking about it !

    £5 - that was a bit extravagant.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Oh H&B how we miss you. That was when all this Tesco really started for me. And then came along DTD against Asda in 2011. I still have stock from then!!
But getting a £88.00 down to £2.46 last night is pretty good too. Have at last found a store not too far away that accepts coupons without making a fuss.

I'd forgotten the Daily Mail book token!

    Long may it continue

I really will be 70 on August 19th ! ( DH is taking me up the Douro on a river cruise ). I don't feel 70, hopefully I don't look it (especially with my new slimline figure ) and I have absolutely no intention of acting my age ! Although I can go into dotty old biddy mode if it will help to get my own way !

Well done on your new slimline figure. :T

It's one of things that I like about the thread - people of all ages exchanging comments/views/help/support etc. Don't think that this would happen so much in RL as some people appear to judge others without knowing them, i.e. too old, young, gender, style of dressing etc (no offence meant to anyone).

H&B was before I found this thread, but I too still have some stock from DTD against Asda, even had one very large DTD voucher that I used to buy a freezer, arrr them were the days, before they capped it to £20

    Morning all.
    Hope everyone is ok.

So last night the hubby heard an enormous crash from upstairs. He legs it up thinking lil man has fallen outta bed. He hadn't. He pokes his head in our room and finds me sat on the floor literally crying with laughter. I had jumped outta bed to grab something, stepped backwards, fell over my own 2 feet and landed on my ar5e!! Our bed is a big wooden thing with a sort of ledge running round the edge. I had hit the ledge on the way down and it has bruised my bum something evil. Omg the bloody pain, I can't bend over without wincing or put my phone in my back pocket. The hubby though it was hysterical and has ripped the piddle out of me all night.
Can I have some sympathy please, my bottom hurts :(:rotfl:

Ouch this sounded like you went with a real wallop. I hope you have not hurt your coccyx if you have I feel sorry for you . Took mine 2 weeks to heal when I fell outside the police station on ice many moons ago :rotfl:

I managed to get one large voucher and bought a lawnmower with it.
