  • Morning all.
    Hope everyone is ok.

So last night the hubby heard an enormous crash from upstairs. He legs it up thinking lil man has fallen outta bed. He hadn't. He pokes his head in our room and finds me sat on the floor literally crying with laughter. I had jumped outta bed to grab something, stepped backwards, fell over my own 2 feet and landed on my ar5e!! Our bed is a big wooden thing with a sort of ledge running round the edge. I had hit the ledge on the way down and it has bruised my bum something evil. Omg the bloody pain, I can't bend over without wincing or put my phone in my back pocket. The hubby though it was hysterical and has ripped the piddle out of me all night.
Can I have some sympathy please, my bottom hurts :(:rotfl:

OMG, I did something similar just over a year ago, I was having an afternoon nap, went to get up and was too close to the edge of the bed and blundered into our headboard/bedside cabinet and clean broke the bedside cabinet attachment off:(

Hubby was out at the time so I was crying all by myself cos I broke the cabinet off the headboard and it cost lots to have made, huge lump on my thigh/bum which became a lovely bruise that took ages to fade!:(

Hubby came home, nearly killed his self laughing at me, looked at the cabinet and mended it(He's a plumber and very handy with other trades as well luckily with me being a disaster area!) and now you wouldn't even know how clumsy I was, lol!:rotfl:

Yes, usually because it was sold with the 'game of the week' for say, £20. The game always went through at the normal price - £30-40. Used to happen everyweek or they would feature the 'wrong' game, same scenario. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Don't forget the walkmans, dvd's, cd's, telephones, irons, toys, clothes (wouldn't pay 4p for sale clothes as they went through at the original price on a lot of occasions), books, kettles, toasters, food processors, the occasional tv, pushchair and cot. Not forgetting the meat, Christmas time turkeys/hams/puddings, H&B, multibuys were notorious for not deducting the discount, wine, spirits, champers, fruit, dairy other groceries. I'm sure that someone will come along and remember other stuff.

It was rather a good time.;)

The Butchers Choice Hams that were supposed to be £5 off - and the lovely Indian IT lot put it in the wrong way round so a £23 ham only cost a fiver. And when they tried to fix it and actually took the £5 off, they forgot to remove the previous wrong deduction - so you got it for nothing. And just after Christmas when they still had a lot of short dated stock, they reduced it all to a fiver - and left the deductions in place ! You couldn't make it up. I could cry for whats gone.

    Morning.
Its disgustingly grey and rainy here. Hope the weather isn't like this where Tiny is but I suspect it might be :(

Must go to T today, before I lose my nerve about using the finest coupons.

Yes, what a horrid dull and wet day in the south. Not good for camping, poor Tiny :(

I was hoping to take my little one to the beach or the park but think it might be a trip to T to try out the finest coupons like you. (Just hope we get willing assistants!:))

PS-Did you manage to get some of the expensive crackers? I see someone helped answer that question (I have been lucky there:D but not been too recently)

    Hi Truffle Hunter,
I'm going to try for the crackers today when I try the finest meal!!
Wish me luck. I just wish I'd grabbed more mags when I saw them, I only got 4. I need to learn to fill my boots in order to be able to get the loot!!
Have a nice day, despite the weather.xx

    Good morning :)

We have sun again. Don't know for how long though.

Mrs S, you have my sympathy! I sipped down some stairs recently and hurt my butt and it still hurts. I slipped at the top and bumped all the way down. Ouch! :o
