:( Chocolate and comedy tv programmes are made for moments like this! You must feel so shook up, i'm really clumsy and always hurting myself and it scares the life out of me.
Hope you feel better soon :)

Yes! Some Michael McIntrye or Sarah Millican always cheer me up!

Hope that you feel better tomorrow, a bit of a shock for you but it could have been much worse, take care of yourself and let the family spoil you for a day or two.

I can't eat chocolate because my teeth hurt, I can't laugh because my lip is dark purple and now very swollen and it hurts to open my mouth too much. I have also discovered a large purple bruise on my side.

On a positive note, the omelette DH cooked for me was delicious and the glass of wine I now have is going down a treat, especially as I have ice in it (sacrilege maybe!), which helps the swollen lip, so not all bad :D

Sorry to hear that you had such a nasty fall. I am glad there were people around to help you. It sounds as if you are being well looked after at home. Take care OP and I hope you feel much better soon.
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.

I'd feel sorry for myself if that happened to me, too!

Methinks you need some pampering and TLC. Hope you get better soon **hugs** xx :)
