In public, certainly. She's been coached in that, remember. ;)

You have no idea what she's really like though. She may spend her days boiling frogs and sticking pins in small children for all you know.
You mean she doesn't spend her days making sure her skirts are short enough, her hair long enough, her heels high enough, her eyeliner black enough and her blusher red enough ?
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

There's absolutely nothing stopping her from doing that if she wants to. There's also nothing to say that she'd ever allow the public to know that she had/see it.

Yeah - let's include the media who've had nothing better to do for weeks but talk total tosh about all sorts of things.

    All articles mentioned the spots.
That doesn't make it (at least in my mind) similar.

But if you're such a sheep that you believe the dress really is similar, do carry on, dear.

Probably less a bumper day for Specsavers than a bumper day for mindless idiots who believe everything in the media instead of looking for themselves and seeing the many differences.

    Oh goodness me! :rotfl:

I haven't actually read any of the articles/media this week - this house is on a media ban. I googled for articles to prove it's not just me that's spotted the similarity.

Somebody posted a side by side picture of Kate and Diana (plus respective babies) on FB last night, pointing out that they'd used William's blanket for this one, and I noticed that the dresses were both polka dot etc. I thought it odd, that having been so conscious of her own style previously she'd make such an obvious nod to the past. She could have worn a bikini and feathers and I still wouldn't care!

So shove that in your pipe and smoke it! :p

And that - in your view - makes dresses similar. :rotfl:

Don't give you your day job, dear, you're not likely to be invited to do some fashion styling any time in the near future. :p

"Shove that in your pipe and smoke it"?

What a quaint old-fashioned style of phrase you have. :rotfl:

Yellow and black stripes - not similar.
    Hot pink - not similar.
Onesie covered in dalmation dogs - not similar.

A million alternatives. But yes, I consider a pale blue polka dot knee length dress and a pale green polka dot knee length dress to be broadly similar. Of course the sleeves and collar were different - there's 30 years between them!

Presumably you describe everything in miniscule detail. No such thing as a pair of jeans for you. The length, fit, colour, number of pockets, belt loops and any other detail must be described exactly, or they're unlike any other jeans? You must be a wow at parties. :rotfl:

if more young couples were like kate and william the world would be a better place. People could learn something from them?

Can you imagine kate big and fat, fag hanging out her mouth with tattoos all down her arms says it all.

Er, yeah, if more young couples had a private education, rich families, assistants, advisers and servants (lots and lots of servants) the world would be a much better place.

I'm learning that I'd like lots of servants. And some castles.

Maybe if I work myself to the bone all my life and apply myself really hard I can be king one day.

You first said 'similar' but now have changed it to 'broadly similar'.

FWIW, I do think a pair of jeans is - pretty much - a pair of jeans.

I just don't see a green spotted dress with floppy white bow trim and elbow length sleeves as similar to a lilac spotted one with short sleeves.

But if the media have said it's similar, "go girl go" and Baaa to you.

I would hate to have servants and castles.

I do not envy them one bit.

I would absolutely hate to have to live with 24/7 protection. No amount of money etc. could ever compensate for that IMO.

I have worked all my life and have applied myself really hard. I feel I am 'king' in my own little world!
