Yes there are some drivers out there who seem to be oblivious to anyone else on the road. And they would be driving without due care and attention to other road users. But that doesn't give you the right to undertake them.
As for emergency vehicles, I know what you mean, as I come across these drivers all the time. But I find that a blast on the bull horn tends to wake them up in most cases.
Are you having another blue light fantasy Carter?0 -

Why don't you stop trolling? You know nothing about what I do for a profession.
You were shot down in flames in another forum regarding blue light driving, because google didn't come up with the information you wanted. And it is quite obvious that you aren't blue light trained going by your posts in that forum. Because of that you have a grudge against those who are blue light trained.
Now why don't you go and get a job, instead of trying to be an armchair google expert? I have a job, and do drive on blue lights on a regular basis.0 -

Well if it is true and we only have your word about your mystery job.
Either they didn't train you very well or you've forgotten it when it comes to driving on a motorway.
As for me getting a job, you know nothing about me Constable.

It was quite obvious to others who are blue light trained in the other thread, that I am also. It was also quite obvious to all of us that you aren't, and that you just google information.
So what don't I know about driving on a motorway???
I know that whenever I post, you are straight on MSE to troll. So unless you do the same shifts as me (which is very unlikely), then you obviously don't work.
Why do you keep calling me constable??? You don't know what I do, do you?
Now stop taking threads off topic with your personal vendetta.0 -

Carter, your plod.;);););)
We can tell by the way you act. As for me you're way off the mark.0 -
When that day comes - I'll argue it in court. Unless you're the magistrate I'm confident of making my case.
Since a) the law doesn't define congested; b) 70 mph and 65mph are similar speeds and c) the M2 doesn't have a Lane 3... I'll still be making my case in court.
Ill blow your case outta the water with the following statement" is there a good reason for you not to have moved into lane two and indicated your presence by flashing your headlights as per the highway code?"0 -

You are the one who is way off the mark. So stop making insulting remarks. Haven't you read the forum rules?
If you actually did think that I was a copper, then why did you continuously argue about blue light driving?
You are contradicting yourself continuously.0 -

Unfortunately despite the fact that they know what they do is wrong, some people seem to think that they can argue their case in court and win. And they will continue to think that as an excuse to drive badly, until they are caught, and lose in court.0 -
