Actually - (now that someone's removed their comment this may not seem so relevant)
People don't need to be online forming 24/7 and the reason many seek advice, help and support in forums with job seeking is because of the jobcentre staff's attitude/manner whom they meet who do not play fairly or by the rules that are there hence the people seek to find the actual rules.
You can't jobseek effectively or at all if they sanction you

The whole point of the sanctions are because you not following the rules you signed up to .

Remember jsa is not a benefit, there is no underlying entitlement. It is an allowance

You talk about the theoretical use and not how they are actually used by too many
Plus some advisers make the rules up as they go along like when you move from normal signing on to the PWP crap

It's there to Jobseeker's and not be there for forced labour etc

An advisor doesn't sanction they simply refer to a DM, f there is no basis for said sanction one cannot be imposed. Therefore if a sanction has been imposed its because said customer has failed to do something in line with what they have agreed to.

Forced labour where??, JSA is not an entitlement you have a choice, if you do not wish to claim its simple sign off or find employment.

It is meant only to be a stop gap but far to many are treating it like some entitlement so they can sit back and put there feet up.

PWPS is there for a reason its for long term unemployed your going to have a shock when April comes and in comes daily signing and community work programme.

Just because someone is an advisor doesn't mean they have to agree with everything that the government introduces, but we do have to enforce it.

The problem with this forum is, people ask for advice an advisor gives them the correct answer and you gang up like a pack of wolves taking out your own frustrations with the jcp on them. I've watched it several times now on this forum over and over again.

People sit here all day moaning, or trying o figure out ways to do as little as possible to yet there time could be better spent elsewhere..... perhaps looking for work which is why they are getting jsa in the first place.

Hvae you ever thought why there are some !!!!!! advisors out there???/ well all you have to do is look to these forums and see what we put up with on a daily basis.

Your just a low level public servant and if it wasnt for the unemployed you would probably be signing on yourself. If your getting that bitter and twisted towards the unemployed then you should give your job up and get something elce where your more suited.

I work as an advisor in a contact center and put up with people being !!!!!! on a daily basis, It's not made me a !!!!!! advisor.

You deal with people over the phone not face to face, I seen advisor spat at, punched, had things launched at them. been waited for outside of work and had there vehicle damaged. so sorry but its a bit different.

You don't bother to take in what I said about why people are in forums such as these
Forced labour is another obvious phrase you claim not to understand and it's a terrible thing to claim that people have a choice as who would choose to starve or be without money so you are twisting stuff again
There's been loads of wrong sanctions as reported by the media and in various forums plus websites
