    It's interesting how some people forget their responsibilities and overlook the fact that this makes their claims of unfair practice when they've not written everything down a moot point.

    Over a 2 week period none of those sound like actively seeking, far from it.

    It's interesting how some people forget their responsibilities and overlook the fact that this makes their claims of unfair practice when they've not written everything down a moot point.
    You start writing down everything you do for next 2 weeks, we'll check it then. Then you need to back it up & have proof of what you have done.

    You see how long it takes.

    All of this has been lost on DWP & JC staff, as it takes up lot of time & effort.

    Spec letters/CV's have to be sent as well as applying for jobs and non stop job searching etc

    Spec letters are on my JSA and I have kept an up to date list with who I have contacted and the responses from them.

    It's just part of my JSAg once was to send 10 speculative applications per week, and that is/can be incredibly time consuming.

    Gather names and contacts over the week and send them all in one day say on a Sunday. They don't really take that long if you are targeting the same job type and industry in batches.
