i think the point to realise here is yes you are right you can present your evidence in any way you wish. however most jc staff dont realise this and insist on it being presented a certain way. you even get some staff insisting you must give them access to your ujm account to prove what you have done.Here you go please tell me where it says evidence has to be provided in writing at your signing. It says to provide information not in which manner that info needs to be provided

you do get alot of advisers at the jc and outside providers who seem to think the money is coming out of their own pocket the way they use tactics to try and avoid giving you your expenses. i walk to the jc normally but not once has my adviser ever asked if i need to claim expenses. you shouldnt be made to ask for them.The_ICT_Engineer wrote: »Another of Dimwit's not so bright ideas, That's means my 59 year old neighbour is going to have spend more than 25 hours a week on buses or waiting for buses. I would not be surprised that by some underhanded slight of hand, that travel costs will not be refunded. Leaving him with the bus fare bill of £45 a week to pay.0 -
if someone didnt do anything and turned up with nothing saying they forgot it and cant remember any of the details, i guess they would get refered for sanction. so whats to stop them going home filling out a log sheet and forwarding that with their appeal saying look i did do it.The way I see it is if a customer has done it, they will be able to tell you.
Sometimes I get referred customers for dma action who have 4/5 things written down but when you ask the right questions they give you loads of info. so no need for a referral to the DM just a bit of guidance abort what info we require0 -

thanks, so its like i thought they would be better off just finding voluntary work themselves than doing this.Hi I've checked this for you today and guidance states the following:
Participation is entirely voluntary for all participants. Sanctions may be applied where a participant has lost their place for reasons of gross misconduct ( sanctions do not apply to 16/17 year olds).0 -
Hi guys. I'm new to this thread and tried to go through looking for answers but didn't really see anything.
Does anyone know what happens after the work programme? I just finished this week and the people i saw at the 'place' didn't know what happens next. They just said rumour this or rumour that etc;
Some say you have to go and sign on every single day, is this true? if so how would this work exactly? If you were to attend the job centre every day it's 1. A waste of my time but also 2. a waste of petrol.
I always thought you'd just go and sign on again like normal after.0 -

No I believe what is correct...not everybody that signs on deserves it, not everybody that signs on is looking for work.0
