If there is any doubt to Terrys motives and the link to his site on the referrers board why not just delete both threads.

The OP hasn't actually done anything wrong, nor broken any board rules and should be allowed his say. I might be overly sceptical and might be proved wrong at a later date about my concerns.

People need to make their own minds up.

I was aware, when posting, that YABB was a free software package ..... In this case however, I just felt the acronym was rather apt. :)

Ah - i see :o sorry Tojo, its early and brain not functioning just yet ;)

Spose we'd better wait to hear from terrymats???

p.s this site is also registered to terry which to me says that he does have a developing background, but also some tie in with exam 'revision tools'

    Hi to all,

Had a nice holiday at the weekend so i could not reply back. Well, I've been related to the certification industry for a long time and I don't think there's anything wrong with that? I'm a well certified professional. x-simulation is another project we are launching in a few months.

As for the yabb board on my just-savings site, It was initially meant to start a board, but when I realised this board of MSE, i dropped that idea.

The bottom line is, I'm working on the online auction project and want help from professionals having knowledge of this subject. I'm not interested in collecting e-mail addresses. Through my various projects, I've a huge collection of over 25,000 email addresses, which are kept private and in strict anti-spam policies.

Yes ofcourse, Sphinx Softwares Limited is my company registered in England. I didn't get anything which is wrong with it?

If anymore information is required on me being a genuine project developer, pls PM me or reply to this thread.

    Thank you,
    Terry

Just wanted to add that those 25,000 email addresses are of my customers. Not collected through any websites for any kind of research. This is the first time I'm carrying out a thorough research on any project. And yes, I've already had a few people signing up for helping me in my research. If you join me, I will certainly have more width in my research. Nevertheless, its your opinion about me and my research.

    Thank you,
    Terry

With hundreds of units sold to date and so many satisfied customers... Why bother launching the project at all, it seems to be doing just fine as it is? :)

(I just loved the last bit suggesting feedback "may" have been modified to eliminate typos and grammatical errors....... "may" indeed. :p)

    Edit:
So as not to confuse anyone. The above information was taken from the X-Simulation website, which until 5 minutes ago was live, recently updated and offering goods for sale.

    Hi Tojo,

This site has been designed from any already existing website. The contents were yet to be modified. Like I said, I've been related to certs for sometime and I know want to set foot in a different industry. Don't want to say more. Besides, its not about what other things I've done or I'm doing. Its about what I want to do. Setting up an online auction website. I need help from professionals. So i guess it would be better to keep such things out of this thread and focus mainly on what is going on in this thread. If its going no where, I'd rather call it quits from this forum and seek assistance else where.

    Thanks
    Terry

Terry, we were never really a good place to start, there are too few of us on here to offer any sort of sample.

If you are feeling brave try the newsgroup "uk.people.consumers.ebay" it's unmoderated so it might be a rough ride as they are still recovering from the last few newly launched ebay alternatives. However, there are some really big players on there and a much wider selection of sellers who might be able to help.

If you are thinking of launching worldwide then there is also the newsgroup

"alt.marketing.online.ebay" which is mainly US sellers.

Thank you Soo. You been nice throughout. Anyway, I really don't understand why many members here are taking me the wrong way. I'm not here to collect email addresses or spam anyone's mailbox. I receive spam everyday and virtually delete it without even looking the face of it. It doesn't work and everyone knows that.

However, many members have encouraged me and some have also contacted me via email directly. I'm touch with them and I've also got subscribers on my website to help me, which are really good signs.

In anycase, everyone has got their own point of view and some may take me wrong, some right. So I'm not really worried about it. The only thing I wanted is to keep this thread clean of unwanted replies and focus on what's going on. Hopefully It will go on the way it has and I will have more supporter from here.

    Thanks again,
    Terry

    Terry,

You'll hear no more from me ..... So good luck. :)

    Note:
Me agreeing to shut up could possibly turn into my most thanked post EVER!! :p

    Hi again Tojo,

Dunno if you are going to reply to this one, but all I want is help in my research. Im not going to use email addresses for spamming. I never believed in it. And one doesn't believe in my research or on me being genuine, do not join my research. Its as simple as that.

    Thank
    Terry
