My sat nav does not recognise OL6 7HX neither does Google, it just directs you to the centre of OL6 and RM postcode finder states it does not exist.

Oh, I'm sure we'll find it in the end.

We always use Ikea for motorway stops on journeys west or south of Lincolnshire. We usually use the Leeds (M62) one to stretch our legs and have a coffee break or a meal/breakfast and we use the Nottingham (M1) when we have ventured down to Heathrow or on our way to the south west coast.

When you can buy a cinnamon bun for 50p and get a free unlimited refill hot drink (normally 95p or free with a family card) why bother going to the expensive service stations?
We love stopping off for breakfast for £1.50 (£2.25 without family card) and love the meatballs (even before the horsemeat scandal!)

Our closest Ikea is the Leeds one (80 miles away) and when fuel was much cheaper I used to take my daughter for a shopping trip there but now it's just a treat on the way to somewhere else.

I live very close to IKEA and have in fact been past it this morning. The correct post code is OL6 7TE. OL6 7HX is nowhere near it. Follow the directions given by Tigsteroonie and you cant miss it.

Thank you! I wonder why Ikea are trying to confuse new customers???

The normal price for a 6 item breakfast is £2.25 but if you register for an Ikea Family Card (free) the breakfast is £1.50 mon-fri from 9:30-11am. Add on top the 50p cinnamon bun with free unlimited hot drink (if that offer is still on) is £2 for a cooked breakfast with hot drink. Very money saving! :money:

Please can someone tell me if there is a reason why Ikea would put a different postcode for Sat Navs

Maybe they direct you to a special one way road, which takes you round and round and round the shop :rotfl:

Don't get a lot. But well worth £1.50.

Got to say I prefer my local greasy spoon. Double bacon, double sausage, double egg, beans, toms, mushrooms, 2 toast and a mug of coffee £3.95.

Just a Saturday morning treat, as I'm on a diet.
