  • To all Agri Firma Investors

Companies House intend to start a winding up order on Agri Firma this month as they have not filed any accounts.

Please contact Companies House and explain you are an investor and they OWE you money.

Agri Firma would no doubt be delighted to be struck off!!!
  • Hi, newbie here.

Interesting to see that bloque invested via Lakewood Asset Management. The director of this company is a guy called Weihahn Gerber. He is South African. He was employed by Capital Alternatives Ltd as a broker in 2011. Capital Alternatives also sold this product and shares a director with Agrifirma - Henstock.
It's another example of all the supposedly individual companies offering such projects, being linked by the same people.
Mr Gerber is someone to watch out for and avoid.

Thanks! I already contacted Companies House and Corporate Agriculture Australia. I see in the following web page
    companiesintheuk.co.uk/ltd/agri-firma-capital
AgriFirma was issued a strike-off notice on 9 Jul 2013 and later that month on 27 Jul 2013 it was discontinued. So, I see this happened once before.

Here's the reply I received from Companies House

    Thank you for your email.

    Company Number: 07692576
Company Name: AGRI FIRMA CAPITAL LIMITED
Status: Active - Proposal to Strike off

If you wish to make an objection, you will need to provide the company name and number of the company concerned and current documentary evidence of any action that is being taken to recover the outstanding debt. You should ensure that this information is delivered to us within 3 months of the company being published in the London Gazette or it maybe struck off leaving you unable to pursue any Claim. Objections can be sent via email or post but the quickest way for your information to be considered is by email. On receipt of this information we will consider whether your objection can be registered.

Should you go ahead and decide to send an objection we would be grateful if you would confirm in your reply, whether you would be agreeable for your identity, as the objector, to be disclosed should an enquiry be received.

I have copied this email to our Dissolution team for them to make a note on your file.

    Yours faithfully,
    Karen Richards

Here's the reply I received from Corporate Agriculture Australia Pty Ltd
    Thank you for the contact.

We do have an arrangement with AgriFirma to manage their land holdings and certainly the land they suggest is genuine land and is in the process of being settled after a delayed purchase process. I really know nothing of the company itself or the structure of their investment at the investor end, but I am confident that the project will proceed and progress as planned and consequently a return should be possible to investors shortly after the settlement of the purchased land.

I do not have them as an alliance on our website as I don’t consider them fully active and proven yet. A position or link on our site is provided only once a project has proved itself.

I hope that helps a little

    regards

    Gordon Verrall
    Managing Director
    Corporate Agriculture Australia Pty Ltd
  • Think I will email G Verrall plus FCA - I was told land purchased and harvest due last year
