I think there is some confusion. The comments saying that the OP has rights were in relation to posters stating that this thread shouldn't be on this forum as it is not a consumer rights issue.
This question is about a consumer (the OP) asking whether he had any rights. Therefore this is the correct forum.
I think everybody is pretty much in agreement that there is not much the OP can do.0 -
The OP has no rights consumer or otherwise.
So if people who use ebay have no rights, why did you complain to them when an item you were bidding on was bid up by a shiller?

After all, you had no rights, hence no right to complain as as far as you are concerned none of your rights had been infringed had they?
Am I also to assume that if ebay sold your personal details to mail or telephone marketing companies without your permission, you wouldn't complain as you have clearly stated that you have no rights so they are doing nothing wrong by doing this.0
