Indeed, however this is still a consumer rights issue. The OP is a consumer of a service and wanted to know their rights. therefore it is the correct forum.0 -
And, sadly, eBay and Paypal moved their UK operations to Luxembourg so they wouldn't have to be FSA regulated.0

The post I quoted wasn't about asking about rights is stated eBay had made a choice, the consumer then has rights.
They don't!0 -

They don't!
If that's still not clear to you, please ask and I'll try a bit harder to explain.
I suggest you change your username.

Once ebay have made a choice and accepted a customer, that customer then has consumer rights.
If that's still not clear to you, please ask and I'll try a bit harder to explain.
In that case why haven't you written anywhere in this thread what rights the consumer apparently has in this instance!
eBay have blocked the account from selling, what consumer law/right does this break? As far as I can see none.0 -

I would argue that there was a chance (a very slim one) that under DPA, a company must ensure that any information held against a customer is accurate.0 -

It probably is though. eBay state they will block all accounts from selling with an association with a seller they have banned. That doesn't mean anything held is incorrect, that's just what they choose to do. I know of no law or consumer right this breaks.0 -

Seeing you still haven't written anywhere in this thread what rights the consumer apparently has in this instance I won't be changing my username0 -
The OP has no rights consumer or otherwise, might even be B2B for all I know with the OP being a seller. Regardless like any other business they can choose who they want to deal with, so consumer rights does not come into this.0
