Thumbs up for DPD

Options
Delivery scheduled, e mail to confirm an hour slot with the option to re-arrange in advance if this is not suitable. :T

Why can't other couriers provide a decent service? :(

My mum had a coffee table (from Tesco) delievered by DPD - she was impressed, said pretty much the same as you. :)

I'd agree with above comments also.

Constant communication via email and text and given an hour time slot for delivery. Was even advised of the name of the driver beforehand.

By far the best courier service I have experienced to date.

Why don't more retailers use them?

I agree they delivered my phone, very good service. I suspect that the rubbish couriers are cheaper so they chose cheap over good service.
No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

Can't fault their service - and easy to rearrange delivery if you are not going to be in at the allocated delivery time - click of a button.

Cost to the retailer is more than if they go via Yodel

But we use DPD, as we find that we get more repeat orders than using Yodel.

I wish retailers would offer a choice- similar to Zoo Plus who offer Yodel for free or ParcelForce for £0.50.

I'm certainly more likely to but if I know they use DPD- Pet Supermarket is now my first choice for bulk orders of bird seed because they only use DPD for heavy items, the super saver delivery is free too and always comes within days.

Whenever an eBay seller uses them I always message them and say "thanks they are my favourite/best courier".

I once persuaded OH to opt for DPD delivery over Yodel even though it meant paying a bit more for the delivery. Worth it.
