From very recent experience (the surveyor assigned was e-surv for both lenders) with Halifax and Barclays - it took 1 day for Halifax and 3 days for Barclays to process the valuation report.
We had our valuation done on 7th June, anyone know how long it takes for the lender to receive the valuation report?!

    Hello,

New here, but wanted to join to be with other people stressing over the same thing! We were convinced we wouldn't get a mortgage, but within 1 week of seeing a broker, we have had an offer accepted on a flat, and are now awaiting a decision from Nationwide!

    DIP - 6th June
    Offer accepted - 8th June
Application to Nationwide - 10th June
    Valuation booked for 14th June.

The waiting is soooo worrying! Our current landlord is selling our flat, so we were kind of forced into this - because of that we haven't been careful with our finances at all recently. Our credit is good as we've never defaulted, but we do have a hefty loan and car credit. But I'm worried they'll look at our bank accounts and refuse us! Our broker thinks we are worrying over nothing, and Nationwide haven't asked for statements so far.

I'm crossing everything at the moment!!

Hi all, just joining today as have been looking at this thread for about 4 weeks now!!

FYI - I’m a first time buyer in scotland.

22/05/19 - offer placed on home
    23/05/19 - offer accepted
28/05/19 - phone-call mortgage appointment with VM - very pleasant to deal with
29/05/19 - full application in post to complete (we were asked for 2 months of payslips and P60)
05/06/19 - full application and documents returned to VM
06/06/19 - VM contacted to confirm receipt and product fee paid upfront on the phone
10/06/19 - phone call to say mortgage accepted subject to home report transcript being as stated from valuer!!

A really quick and simple process with VM. In Scotland home report is already completed prior to purchase so once this is sent to VM we’ve been advised our written offer will be with us by end of the week!:j:j

    Any questions let me know
