Applied with Principality anyone recently applied with these and a rough timescale, the mortgage advisor told me I'd have no problems adependant on valuation and this could be a quick case I've put 30% deposit

My timeline with Santander
DIP 14th May
Full mortgage app 17th May
Not heard anything from our broker asking for more details so keeping everything crossed! We did email him yesterday and he said ours was with underwriters and we should hear something either today or Monday. Not sure if valuation has been done as not heard anything. I’m trying to remain calm and not pester anyone but after 2 weeks of hardly any communication I’m starting to panic!0 -
My valuation was done on 24th, had a copy of the report which was fine just waiting on offer a week and the suspense is killing me..0

Natwest were great... we submitted a full application from home with our broker on a Tuesday eve in May. Valuation took place the following Tuesday. More docs requested that same Tuesday. Offer received in full on the Friday.
8 working days from start to finish - and I was still a cat on a hot tin roof. :beer:

The wait is the worst!!
I'm expecting mortgage offer today. Broker said they're doing final checks before issuing, had an earlier hurdle, hopefully plain sailing from now.

Very happy with how fast principality got the valuer in I applied late Thursday evening and they done the valuation Monday morning!
Just waiting on any news now, most people seem to have an offer shortly after valuation it's oy been 2 working days so far :beer:0 -
