    Hi and welcome

A few questions, is this England or Wales ? What parking company is this ? And you the registered keeper of the car?

    Thanks

Can you come back with the name of the company exactly, we just tailor our advice to the situation and company involved. Thanks

Okay you need to wait for the notice to keeper to arrive, that must be between day 29 to 56 after the parking event. If it falls out of that then they are in breach of the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012.

Then you send a generic soft appeal to get a popla code to appeal independently. Don't do popla alone as you will fail on it.

We are running at a 100% success rate at popla at the moment , so the chances are very good . So once you get you letter come back for further advice.

Here's an appeal I wrote earlier - specifically covering the maternity issue - which should be sent when you get the letter to the Registered Keeper (NOT YET!):

But you could try IMMEDIATELY complaining to the Mothercare Manager as they can cancel these fake PCNs, as can the Managing Agent for the Retail Park itself.

You won't be paying it so no worries - everyone here beats PCM at POPLA but you may as well try the complaint to Retail Managers approach first.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
