Was rather hoping they were going to answer that one themselves, Quentin.
But glad you were able to oblige.

kltpzyxm,
A court would regard a payment by BACS, once it was received by the payee, as discharge of TMO's obligation to deliver a cheque within the same contracted period of time.
Some people would still prefer a cheque, though, and have posted that on here.

Those are the same as my own, I've submitted both 11 and 12 on time.
I think I recall someone in the first thread taking them to the SCC and winning because that clause was purposefully confusing?
Grayme-m,
Could you give us an update on how far you're progressing with your search for the posting about that.
It would be really helpful to Salma and many others.
Thanks.0 -
While I welcome The Mobile Outlet back, it's a shame they mark their return with yet another lame excuse to why they are not paying on time.
Just how long does it take to check a few bills and authorise a payment?
It could've been the perfect time to cut out all the bull and be honest with us all and not return to the old days of lame excuse after lame excuse.Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.0 -

Well said. Couldn't agree more :beer:0 -
Guys, c'mon, posters are getting the cb's, some without prompting - that can't be bad, can it ?? It is good to see TMO back on here at least trying to keep us informed as to the issues. Let's give their new system time to bed in and attempt to catch up with the backlog before too much mud gets slung their way again. At the end of the day, I'd rather they spent their time processing my and other's cb than spending ages on the forum having to explain every little nuance of individual gripes. Once a week for an update TMO ??......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

Everyone should get their cashback without prompting.
Nowhere in the t&c's does it say otherwise
'Prompting' includes telephone calls, e-mails, letter before action's and court summons and bailiffs visits.
They have processed some claims on time and others (like myself) weeks late, so how are they clearing the back-log? It obviously is selective.Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.0 -
saint - I agree that prompting shouldn't be needed, but as far as I can tell TMO were one of the first companies who got involved in this forum to actively try and help people to try and remedy any issues with their cb and have done so for many through this medium.......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

I too believe that they have sorted out many people through this site, the problem I have is that for every person that gets their cashback, they are replaced by another who has problems, myself included.
They are running "approximately" 10-14 days behind, so that means that in two weeks we will see no more posts about claims that are not paid in 28 days, that is good news.:TWell life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.0 -
The problems you allude to though are primarily of late payment, and not non payment of cashbacks.0

Right I'm 99% sure i have lost out on all my cashback remaining which is terrible.
My first phone bill issue date is mid sept and im on the 5 stage cashback thing as my claim is over £201.
Now it says i should have forwarded my bills 8 and 9 21 days after the 9th bill's issue date. That has passed I am pretty sure.
Just wanted to clarify this:
"If any one stage is not complied with, you will loose your entitlement to claim the whole of the cash back. "#
Means i've lost all my remaining cashback as well as this stage?
Just thought it was worth double checking with someone else.

Sorry to say that it doesn't look too promising to me as you don't appear to complied with the T&Cs.....Assuming the statements above were in force when you took out your contract0
