The one (and only?) good thing with the Mobile Outlet your 1st bill is your first bill, they do not operate the confusing system favoured by most other companies.

I believe I am correct, so would like someone else to confirm.

Yes you are correct, thats the way mine worked anyway.

Last week, 77.5% of Royal Mail’s postal workers voted in favour of calling the first national postal strike for 11 years.

Somehow, I think this news is likely to be received with less than total horror by TMO. :rotfl:  :j   :rotfl:

How is everyone here proposing to submit their claims (and obtain proof of delivery) if it happens?

    Any ideas?
In all seriousness, I believe that the dates for any strikes will be well publicised, so anyone submitting a claim will be able to submit their claim a day or two later to avoid the chaos.

You usually have about two weeks to submit your claim, so no one should be caught out by a Royal mail postal strike.
Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.

Always, always send by Special Delivery. Even if there is a postal strike, the management (who are in a different union to the posties) will deal with mail on priority. Special Delivery is always top of the list, Recorded Delivery only shows that the item has been posted, thereafter it is treated along with 'normal' mail and put through the system with first and second class mail.

HTH - from an ex-post office employee, waiting with bated breath for last cashback payment (received by TMO 21 days ago and no acknowledgement from them yet.....yes I sent by Special Delivery!!).

How long are people waiting to hear from TMO about their claims?

They received my 1st claim on the 13th May and I've sent 2 emails to the forumqueries address but not heard a dickie!

I had a contract with Three Mobile. As you may know that delay the last bill by a month to ensure that no extra charges are accrued on your account.

I was on the old t&c (1 cash back @ 6mths, then send in bill 11, then 12, await 2nd cashback). They emailed receipt of my bill 11. It was then 2 months before I sent bill 12, but as I got it there within 7 days of the statement date so I met their t&c's.

Now, I got a letter in the post today, expecting it to be my 2nd and final rebate. Unfortunately it is just a letter stating:

Our Fulfilment Team have received your bill; however, we need to investigate your claim in more detail. We would be grateful if you could send in the itemisation from your bill dated 1st May. We will then be able to continue processing your cash back claim

Anybody else had these delay forced upon then ? what if I didn't have itemisation ? is this just another one of their methods to deny payout ?

I am tempted to go down to their office (less than 10 miles away) and demand some action. Anybody else paid them a visit ?
