Which bit of lies do you not understand ..
"lies" does not have bits, its a concept - one I fully understand. The bigger question is where your statistic came from. I must assume you made it up which is a good example of a lie.Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.0 -

OK wise guy - my statistic did not come from anywhere because I did not quote anything nor make anything up,0 -

Your credibility is plumbing new depths....
You stated above:MP's refer cases on health to this body, after complainants have not received an answer to their complaint via the Ombudsman.
I would advise anyone thinking if asking their MP to do so
Should know that only 1.5 percent if cases are upheld.
So you admit its not a quote. It is a statement that purports to be a fact based on a statistic. If you say it did not come from anywhere then you made it up.
I give up! You must be a troll.Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.0 -

In other words, this arrogant official body ..that doesn't seem to be answerable to anyone and certainly, by thecstats, pays no real attention to the appeals of elected representatives.
It is also the body that had secret meetings with the Care Quality Commission to stop the Joshua Titcombe case coming to light...
Don't waste your time.
Go to a lawyer.
There you are BobQ - the full quote comes from ....... The OP ...0 -

Fair enough it was not you, I humbly apologise Oneye
Still interested to know where Cheapskate got his statistic from.Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.0 -
Apologies accepted.
I've been given today's Daily Mail letters page - not available online apparently.
The Parliamentary (Health) Ombudsman has been understandably panned, and 'investigates only 3% of cases'. I read that as 3% of all complaints refered to the Ombudsman's Office.0 -

That makes more sense. They claim lots of the complaints are out of the Ombudsman's remit etc which may be true but that then gives that low statistic I assume.Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. A Costly Quango
Attached is the letter mentioned above with name removed. Courtesy of the DailyMail.

It gives the impresssion that there is a right of complaint but clearly has a different agenda from what Parliament intended, allowing Government Departments undeserved impunity. What useful purpose does this expensive Quango serve ?
No doubt those 97% genuine complainants are effectively told to push off....0 -
A Costly Quango
From Wales-News
I am determined that the result of this review will be a system that ensures that any complaint that patients or whistleblowers make will be listened to, and acted upon.
Ann Clwyd may be a down to earth politician but the world is paved with good intentions ..

The Digital Outreach Team kept the RH Ann Clwyd's report very quiet, or was it meant to be secret.
Whichever this is hardly promoting public engagement - part of DOT's mission statement.0
