Parliamentary Health Services Ombudsman

MP's refer cases on health to this body, after complainants have not received an answer to their complaint via the Ombudsman.
I would advise anyone thinking if asking their MP to do so
Should know that only 1.5 percent if cases are upheld.
In other words, this arrogant official body ..that doesn't seem to be answerable to anyone and certainly, by thecstats, pays no real attention to the appeals of elected representatives.
It is also the body that had secret meetings with the Care Quality Commission to stop the Joshua Titcombe case coming to light...

It might consider making a change to the first part of its name in view of the fact that it can't handle complaints against MPs :

There are other ways of complaining about Members of Parliament -
in any case as indicated above it would be pointless going to the Ombudsman0 -

For the avoidance of doubt:
The Parliamentary Commissioner and Health Ombudsman is the same person..
see here Parliament-Remote and Out of TouchThe complainant has recently drafted a Parliamentary Petition, suggesting the Parliamentary Ombudsman should not 'conspire' with the Government Departments that she has been asked to investigate. (A point already admitted).

I now understand there is a Claim of Damages against Parliament on behalf of: -
- the Parliamentary Ombudsman for several accounts of operating in secrecy whilst investigating Government Departments.
- For the Speaker of the House the RH Mr John Bercow for being complicit in such activities.
I wonder owns Parliament ? ...0 -
The PHSO only upholds LESS than two percent if all cases referred to it.
It is a rubber stamping exercise for government failings.
You can do two things:
1. Doodle on the wall. It would be as much use as referring a case here.
2 Get yourself a smart lawyer.0 -

I can now advise that this can be extended to consequential damages as the Parliamentary Ombudsman will still operate in secrecy.0 -

Where did this statistic come from? My reading of the 2012-13 statistics are that there were 8 complaints that met the criteria and 7 were upheld.
http://www.parliament.uk/documents/pcfs/statistics/resolved_March_2013.pdfFew people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.0 -

The are lies, bigger lies and statistics...I can now advise that this can be extended to consequential damages as the Parliamentary Ombudsman will still operate in secrecy.
For the avoidance of doubt, in secrecy means with the Government Department she is supposed to be investigating.
What else do you need to know ...0 -

True, but I have sourced this statistic. Where did your statistic come from? If you cannot cite the source I must question if its a fabrication.Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment.
