Thats a stupid analogy and not appropriate to the situation. No need to have a go at the OP so much either - not everyone in the world is computer savvy and nor do they either expect things like this to occur in games.

Yes people should check, but many dont for many things, to be having a pop at them when they just want help is pathetic.

ETA: In fact this very website has T&Cs that state by signing up to it you agree with them and that includes the forum eitquette which says 'Be Nice' so dont sign up and agree to anything you are not going to stick by.And if you dont like that rule then you should leave and not be a hypocrite ;)

These IAPs are designed to trick you into making purchases which you don't realise.

I think there should be legislation to make them require a positive opt-in rather than you having to know about it and then take the step of opting out.

I can confirm you certainly do not need to register a card with Google Play - or I Tunes come to that. I am registered with both and have downloaded from both (only free games/items) and have NEVER given them my card details, neither do I intend to.

There's no 'trick' involved - when you purchase something in app with Google Play/Wallet, you get a very explicit pop up that tells you exactly what the purchase will cost in your currency, and it asks how you wish to pay

Funny that because there's always a pop up in my games that asks me if I want to purchase something. How is that a trick?
