Help manic kitten climbing net curtains

My little monster is coming up 10 weeks and goes mad for climbing the net curtains. So far shes put a huge hole in them and wrecked the blind. I'm at a loss how to stop her :( sometimes she will sit by the window on the back of the sofa but more often than not she charges and the nets.

She's a playful baby who knows no boundaries. She'll grow out of it eventually. Your window dressings will be tatty for a while, but you can replace them. In the meantime enjoy your beautiful little playful ball of mischief as you will miss these days when she has grown up.

Snowy Owl is spot on. Don't be as daft as I was, I used to get ladder out to get the little darling down..in case she fell an hurt herself. By the time I got said ladder the little angel was back on the floor :rotfl:

Thanks, I was more worried about her losing her grip and falling or getting her claws stuck :( only had her 2 weeks and she growing up so fast. She also loves to chew quite hard on your hands and jump up your legs.

I think all kittens do it , when our old girl Polly was a kitten, you would just see some rustling going on behind the curtain and her wee head would pop out at the top !.

Bad news - my kittens are almost 2, and they still climb the curtains. Especially if there's a fly or something that they think they might catch.
They've stopped climbing people though, which is nice, as I was fed up with having constant scratch marks all the way up my back from ankles to neck.

I've never stopped mine doing it, kittens are complete nutters, just go with the flow.
Do you have a large scratching post ?, you might find a big enough one will give her a more appropriate outlet, I have one that's just over six feet tall and my two run up it like squirrels, only downside is, I can't reach the top lookout platform, so the little so and so's can sit up there out of reach when it's eye cleaning time.:rotfl:

I have one but its not very large, might need to find something bigger for her.

You can make a very MSE climbing pole for her out of an offcut of carpet and the inner roll tube that carpet comes on. Staple and glue the carpet to the pole and then fix it floor to ceiling...I have literally just jammed mine into place. Cats love it!
