Question regarding Quidco
Comments
-
If you believe in everything they say, you'll believe in anything. Its possible that they might pass it all on but I don't think its the case and highly unlikely.
Retailers say all sorts of things, but not quite the gospel.
Quidco have responded to your comments (others could have considered them beneath contempt and ignored you!)

Will you take up the challenge and post your comments in that thread? Or go there and apologise?0 -
why do I?
I repeat again, just because they say something, doesn't mean the gospel.
What Steve_XX said is correct, the amount they state on thier site, the consumer will get, whether that is the actual amount they get from the retailer in cashback money is a different matter and is what I have been referring to.
I have no reason to challenge them because quite frankly their response will be fairly obvious so there is no need for it.
It don't bother me, I just addressed my point.0 -
This is what Quidco say in answer to your allegations in the Quidco thread:We run this site honestly and openly and find it insulting when someone tries to smear the whole concept with ignorant comments. If anyone ever has any doubts or thinks they have evidence of Quidco holding back or skimming cashback we would want that posted publicly on this thread and we will answer the question publicly.
You have a full answer to your "smear" - why can't you post there and back up your allegation or make an apology - you only let yourself down by just continuing the same allegation against them (which is clearly unfounded).0 -
They can write what they like just like all other companies do, whether they do what they say they do is a different matter.
I dont need to write the same thing twice so if they want they can read it here.
If they can prove with evidence that they pay full cashback that they get from retailer to customers, then I'll believe them but its all talk and no do and like I said, anyone can write anything on their site, do they have evidence to show it and show us on here? Obviously not!0 -

As an affiliate myself, I can believe that they genuinely try to do exactly what they say on the tin.
There are times, however, where I can see that it would be impossible to fairly distribute certain types of income that they receive as not all affiliate income is directly attributable to specific sales (e.g. prizes won from promotions run by retailers/affiliate networks to encourage more affiliate sales etc...).
Nonetheless...where a commission payment (or bonus) is directly attributable to a specific sale I genuinely do believe that it is paid out to the member in full.
Remember, as an affiliate, I am effectively in competition with Quidco where contract mobile phone purchases are concerned to the point where, if everyone purchased via Quidco, my site would have to close down so it is significant that I am willing to go on record to defend their business.
Reestit MuttonFor anyone wishing to contact me privately to ask me a question, can I ask that you email me directly as my PM box is often full.0
