Question regarding Quidco

And what about the commission they earn from retailers for each transaction via their site????
Thats where the real money is coming from (along with registration fees)
Methinks you've not grasped what Quidco actually does. Are you absolutely sure we're talking about the same site?

If account consolidation was allowed en-masse it would decimate Quidco's earnings and potentially make the whole service unviable.
So there is a sensible balance to be struck when using such a service. If you want it to survive then you need to understand and accept how it works.

* they also earn their keep from volume-related bonuses received from some retailers which, by their very nature, cannot be attributed to specific member purchases and hence passed on to members.
Though they will earn interest on funds received into their account from the retailers. So that will add to their profits I think?0 -

Just because Quidco state on thier site "Quidco collects referral commissions from online merchants and passes them all on to our members" doesn't mean that is exactly what they do.
You don't know what or how much commission they acquire from these retailers so its impossible to believe that Quidco do what they claim to do (unless of course you work for them)
I don't believe for one minute they pass on all the referral commissions they receive from online merchants to members. If they did, they wouldn't still be here.0 -

"An ad-free cashback cooperative that passes on all referral commissions in exchange for keeping £5 a year as an admin fee."

If you believe in everything they say, you'll believe in anything. Its possible that they might pass it all on but I don't think its the case and highly unlikely.
Retailers say all sorts of things, but not quite the gospel.0 -
The best thing to do is refer your friends and family to open their own accounts, unlike some other cashback sites quidco don't have a limit on how much you can withdraw, they just ask for the five pound a year admin fees which will give quidco more consumer power which will in turn get use the members even more cashback from retailers who want are custom.
You can reg as many accounts you want on the same computer just remember to clear the cookie's everytime you or anyone else use's the same computer.
certain other cashback sites only offer half the amount as quidco, so I believe they pass on every single penny. Very Very brilliant site I have recommended them to everyone I know who buys over the internet. I also ask them if they have Cars stickers so I could advertise for them but they don't do them.0 -

Otherwise, your comments regarding Quidco are fairly pointless.:rolleyes:0 -
and can you prove that they do pass on all their cashback from retailers to the consumer? (and don't say their website states it. Anyone can write anything on their site, it doesn't mean the gospel)
