I've bought plates from a Dublin supplier and had no problems so far. Mind you, I only have them on my trailers.0

I got some 'legal' plates off an ebay seller a few years ago called DJH Plates. Never asked for ID and they are not registered as a plate maker so that makes them illegal.
Seller's shop seems to be gone from ebay now too.
Made in an out house like on Fake Britain.0 -
The reason they only steal the rear plate is because it is possible to find garages that only have one camera so they can simply attach the plate over their own, fill up and drive away. (Why you must get that crime number and keep it)I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
(except air quality and Medical Science)

When I had both of my plates stolen, when I reported it to Police the person I spoke to asked whether I had the GB mark on the plate.
I told him that they hadn't, he advised that the new set I get should have the GB on it so if the car got photographed at petrol station or on speed camera then the plates look obviously different to the old ones and would be easier to challenge any offence caused by the culprits.0 -

How does that work?
What is to stop anyone who is up to no good from swapping their own plates with different badges?0
