Hello all, back from my jollies and have to say we all had a great time. :D Now back to crazy before heading back to the beach house in 3 weeks.:j

Got home Thursday evening and then DD had a friend arrive Friday morning who is staying until tomorrow and then DD is staying at her house until Tuesday evening (works well as DD can go to the deaf youth club Monday and Tuesday).

All washing done Friday and kitchen got a good scrub, house was left OK before we went away.

Got an appointment through for DD it's the big appointment so on the 2nd August we'll know if she needs surgery. Of course this is the week she's away with NDCS so i'll have to see if I can lift her early on the Friday morning.

    So that's all my news...:rotfl:

Hope everyone is well and happy birthday to anyone I missed and Happy Birthday Froddington :bdaycake:

Happy Birthday froddy, hope you had a wonderful day xxx

Back from work and yes it was busy!
Been given a new 'job' of doing the staff rotas, as I complained that the shifts were not fair, so was told by the manager 'Kaz you have complained enough, so you are now in charge of them'!! :j:j:T:T:D.

I think she thought I would say no to that, but now at least they will be fair, done most of Aug, just got the last week to go of Aug and started on Sept as well!! I get to pick the shifts I like but with no one really noticing. :D

    Daily stuff done

Hope you all had a good day xx

Happy birthday Frodders. Bossy - prunes, a few a day just to keep her safe. Or even better, cherries. Poor little thing. And hugs to you both.

Shattered. Several Level 1 things did not get done, and I will not be 'catching up' tomorrow. I can live with the grot and if other people have a problem with it, they can go elsewhere. I'm having a day off before we embark on Week 2 and if I can get away with it, R will be cooking breakfast again, although that might be pushing it a bit, seeing as he's done it all six days this week and the previous week. Leftovers for lunch and takeaway fish and chips for supper, which is also pushing it, but if you don't ask, you don't get. If OH has the energy to roast a chicken, then he's welcome to do so.

One chap gave me flowers today (I should coco, after a tanty last night), one gave me a box of chocs for doing his washing and another sent me the sweetest text. I wonder if they are as appreciative of their wives/girlfriends efforts?
    Better is good enough.

Thanks HB she does seem happier now. I've been giving her lactulose for 4 days hence finally a breakthrough. She used to have prune juice as an infant, but now decides she doesn't like it (pfft) but I had no idea about cherries! Thanks!

DW x 2, cakes iced, DD iced a few buns too. They look really pretty bless her! I'm taking her up for a bath shortly (thanks, calippo!). Her bedding has been washed and dried and replaced. Hopefully she'll sleep better. Need to remake DS bed although he's not back till tomorrow.

Will just go finish kitchen now I've had my dinner.

Next door said they would be burning some wood from the trees they've cut down, seems they are getting prepared with hose and buckets at the ready, and its not close to my fence. Hope they keep it under control  this bit of breeze on parched land and a fire is not the greatest plan :o they also appear to have invited friends over. Still, at least he has help if it does get a bit out of hand...

Not caught up on thread yet - hope everyone is ok. Hugs and posi-vibes where needed.

Been a bad flylady this week. So exhausted with work and house-buying that I've just been very lazy. Today I have tried to make up for it:

WM x 3 and on the rotary
Tidy, dust, hoover kitchen, DR and LR
Tidy, dust and hoovered bedroom and landing
    S&S bathroom
    Hoovered bathroom
    Emptied kitchen bin
    S&S kitchen
    Menu plan and food shop
    Washed dishes x 2

Now I'm about to get on with some ironing and I'll need to bring the dry laundry in before it gets dark later as well.

Hi I am new to the thread. Been trying to do flylady this week but struggled with the heat (im 5 months pregnant). I did manage to do most of my everyday chores, pulled all the cushions off of the sofa and hoovered and started putting clothes away straight away after collecting them off of the washing line instead of dumping them in the moses basket, which seems to have become a dumping site :)

    Welcome, Angel!

Well my house is not on fire, so that's a good start. But it seems someone else is having parties now. Honestly, it used to be quiet around here. Scuse my moaning ;)
