    Hi Suzie

    what spec is yours?

It has dwarf walls and is double glazed with a Pilkington self-clean glass roof. It faces east. Is that what you meant or do you want more technical details?

I just wanted as much detail as you can give so I can compare., we will want one complete wall and dwarf the rest possibly, basically as much brick ax permitted. ....And maybe invest in under floor heating plus a rad coming off the main supply. ...
Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

We've just got 2 dimplex heaters, but have hardly used them as I resent paying to heat a room which we don't actually need to use.

Yes, underfloor heating and a radiator will probably work if you don't mind the cost of fuel.

I love it, when it is warm enough and we spend as much time in there as possible (sometimes we are actually relieved when it is cloudy as otherwise we would just vegetate in there and not get anything done (we have sun loungers in there)).

But I am just saying that if someone wants a room that they can use all year round then I wouldn't go for a conservatory.

Yes, it's difficult if you haven't had one before, but perhaps if you ask the sales rep if you could speak to someone who has had a similar spec conservatory for at least a year and see what they say about bills etc,

You will obviously need to ensure that the conservatory faces in the same direction as your will.

It will be too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter.

If you want all year use build an extension.

I agree with the above, build an extension, but have proper windows all round, this way its like a consevatory for light, but you can use it all round.
