Sun Holidays - Butlins Minehead query

Just booked for Easter next year and I notice you just get a standard room and not an apartment?

Can someone confirm this and if anyone has an idea if its expensive to upgrade to an apartment can you let me know.

i booked Butlins Skegness in the last round of Sun hols and booked an apartment - when i phoned to pay the difference i asked about upgrade to silver and was told £40. I did not upgrade as the standards at Skegness have 2 bedrooms.

Last night i booked Butlins Bognor Regis via Breakfree for Easter - but on Breakfree you don't get a choice of room or apartment like you do with the Sun - so i will see what my confirmation says ....

i definitely want an apartment and might upgrade to silver as the standards at Bognor seem worse than at Skegness.

Has anyone upgraded to silver at Bognor ? what was the cost?

We went to Butlins Minehead at Easter and it cost 12 pounds per person to upgrade to a silver apartment. It was excellent value for money as it was during the bitterly cold weather (it even snowed!) but it was so warm in the apartment we had to turn the heating down. Going again next Easter and will definitely upgrade. Payed for passes this year but they dont give you any, you just show your key card so will take those off next time.

it depends which one you choose

with the sun the optin comes up to book room only or an apartment - which one did you choose?

well when you get your confirmation from butlins you will know which one you picked! BUt i think it is ok to change it...

which one do you want? I know when i have tried to book Butlins in the past sometimes only room only is available which is what i don't want...

It is easier to change from apartment to room only rather than the other way round...
