Butlins Sun Holiday (Update) Upgrade to Ocean Hotel

Just posting to let you guys know I got offered an upgrade from a Silver room to a 'Neptune Room' @ the Ocean Hotel.
I originally paid for 1 adult and 4 kids, and added bed linen & entertainment passes. After reading some post on here - when I went to pay my balance I took off the bed linen (£12) and decided I would chance it and take off the passess also which saved me around £75.
Anyway fast forward a couple of weeks and I get a call asking if I want to upgrade to the Ocean Hotel. The lady sold me on the 'Flagship Neptune Room'. before decidding I checked out reviews and pics of the hotel and I must say I was impressed. So I took the plunge and paid £50 to upgrade, so that amounts to £10pp which to me was worth it, considering what extras I was getting. Hope I made the right choice!

My ex took the kids on a last minute break and stayed in the hotel part at the minehead one, he got a real cheap deal. They all said the hotel rooms were amazing. Think you got a bargain room price there.0
