Corpor@te Facilities Services Ltd - Parking Charge Notice

I received a "Parking Charge Notice" at Parc Tawe Car Park today from CFS (Corporate Facilities Services Ltd) because I (admittedly) stayed over the 3 hour time limit.

I've read some posts on here about private parking tickets and to just ignore it. I'm really just looking for some piece of mind and want to know if the Parking Charge Notice really is just like the others and that I can just ignore it.

Here's an image of the parking charge notice

You must always ignore a fake PCN on a windscreen and wait to see if the firm write to you first. Then and only then do you consider an appeal na look to win the case at POPLA (new appeals service for AOS member 'tickets'). 'IGNORE' IS NORMALLY THE OLD ADVICE SO YOU'VE READ OLD THREADS!

But the rule about waiting for the first letter is even more important in this case as I can't see this bunch on the BPA AOS list, can you?

No AOS membership = no way to get your name and address from the DVLA when issuing 'parking tickets'. This should go NOWHERE so you certainly do not hand them your details on a plate by 'appealing'!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

If these jokers DO write to you, come back and say so because then we will try to get someone else in deep poo for abusing their DVLA access.

Otherwise, they have no way of finding out who you are, so ignore them with impunity.

"Failure to pay the parking charge notice may result in your name and address being requested from the DVLA..."

The technical term for this is a LIE. Rhyso, this company is not a member of the British Parking Association Approved operator Scheme, and therefore it has no way of obtaining your details from DVLA. If I were you I would contact your local Trading Standards and suggest this lot be prosecuted for misrepresentation.

Could you tell if this is Parc Tawe North (Pets at home etc) or South Toysrus ? The reason is that in the south car park they still have signs up that they issue penalties.

They at first glance appear not to be bpa aos members. So they won't be able to contact you unless you tell them

It's Parc Tawe South, front row in front of the Toys R Us entrance
  • Did you ever hear from 'CFS'? I've just received a parking charge from them in the same place. They're still not listed with the BPA. Are hey allowed to be listed under a different name or anything like they? I do not want to give these people my details.

Are you sure it's not this lot?

Can you scan your parking charge letter, obliterate any identifying elements (name, address, car reg etc) and post in a new thread of your own so you can get personalised advice.

Here's how to upload an image:

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Was there day before yesterday, their signs are not compliant, and they do not identify the parking company. I believe it's this lot

Well the advice is that you never reply to a windscreen fake PCN anyway (unless it's a company car where you may have no choice - but even then NEVER respond when a firm isn't an AOS member!).

As with advice already on this thread above; you wait and see if any NTK arrives, we say it will NOT because they aren't AOS members. You'll hear nothing more unless you hand them your details on a plate! DON'T!!
