Flights Paid For - Human Error Involved - Cancel Card Payment?

    Whilst it is your responsibility to check I am surprised that in the interest of good customer service they have not cancelled the flight as you noticed almost immediately. I too have made errors on online bookings and cancelled under the 24 hour refund policy of both BA and Virgin Atlantic getting a full refund. I think your best bet is to appeal to their good nature and ask for a refund but accept they may not give it.

    When you book direct with the airline they will help you. Bigger co's will do more to assist

    What the Op has done is used a 3rd party. Who have booked the flights for them with Ryanair. I guess the cut they receive is so small that its not cost effective for them to cancel and give the Op the money back.

    Op will see a debit from Ryanair and another from on the beach.

    As someone mentioned chargebacks earlier on. Not a hope in hell of getting any card provider to action one here.
