I ordered theatre tickets during the week.
They arrived in the post this morning, with a leaflet to advertise a credit card inside.

Skycard 7k-mine
Barclaycard Platinum 14k-mine
Barclaycard MC 2k-mine
Capital 1.5k-mine
Halifax One 16k-mine
BC 2k-OH
Capital One 1k-OH
Total available 43.5k:eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: OMG!!
I only have debt on BC Plat as I BT on to a 2.9% LOB. Skycard I pay for everything on but pay in full monthly to gain the points and I save £10pm on the skybill. I only have a 4 payments till I am completely debt free. OH has no debt.

and I keep getting offered a 10k loan by my bank

up until last week I had the following cards,with available credit of

Natwest £10,000
Capital one £3,500
Morgan stanley £5,500
Sky £3,500
Tesco £3,500

Thankfully I dont owe any of them any money,I am no longer a credit card tart.0 -
Oh wow! Before lunch today, I had access to £36K:
OD (Halifax 1st account) - £2K reduced the OD facility to £500 - for emergencies only
Halifax Visa - £16K balance was £300, but paid that off this morning and cancelled the card:T
OD (Halifax 2nd account) - £1K Removed OD facility this morning as I only transfer money into this account from my savings to pay for one-offs like car tax, insurance etc)
During the week, I received notification that I have been pre-approved for:
£7k loan (at 30%) shredded, and in compost heap
£5K loan at 29.9% shredded, and in compost heap
£6K credit card 35%apr shredded, and in compost heap

We recently had access to about £80k, not including any pre appoved loans etc. Last month hubby had an exercise in cancelling all the credit cards with a nil balance.
We're now down to about £20k if we needed to have a spend tomorrow!Proud to be dealing with our debts - We WANT to be debt free DEC 09 :rolleyes:

i'll never forget when i got my egg card to transfer a balance to the 0% rate, within 5 minutes of clicking on the site i had a credit card with a 10k limit!!!
Ive got 3 accounts each with 2k overdrafts on, thankfully im not in any of them
so theres 16k without even putting any sort of effort in!!0 -
I've got no overdraft, £650 available on my Capitalone cc (limit £800), but £2600 in savings and something on a catalogue that I've not used in a couple of years. Couldn't raise much but I have a comfortable safety net until I can find a job0
