*snort*...... :rotfl::rotfl: .... um ....NOPE! But I did set the motorbike race up on 'replay' for him - it wasn't available last night, so he's just [STRIKE]shouted at the screen for 45 minutes[/STRIKE] watched it now

Good Morning :hello:
Oh it was a struggle to get out of bed this morning..... even though I had a nice sleepThen DP was all sad at the news about Robin Williams' passing..... It is sad if he ended his own life, as his acting brought a lot of pleasure to a wide range of folk.
Ho hum, welcome Tuesday
Think I'll go for a NSD today. It is TV guide day, but I don't necessarily need to get it today, and we're pretty well stocked up in other things.
I need to have a shuffle around of the freezer tonight, as we've a couple of days off at the end of the month. I want to try to see what 'ready meals' (HM of course) I can fit in, so that we can enjoy the time to the full, whether we're adventurising or DIYing, I won't have to worry about stopping to 'make tea'
well, I rather think gallons of the liquid kind will be necessary to get DP to do anything, but you know what I mean
It'll either be soup or veggie bobotie tonight, I'll put the lentils on to soak, either way.
Thanks for popping in and reading, always appreciated.
See y'all later.

Hello Greying and chums! Thank you for your kind mentions over the weekend. Me and DD got back from France on Friday after a lovely holiday. I didn't post while away but every evening made a ritual of roaming for thirty seconds to download the thread! :rotfl:
Greying, please don't think of leaving us again. I would feel bereft! It's clear from other peoples stories that a lot of us in this community have had challenging pasts and/or presents. My own history has taught me to value communities like this one. I recognise loveliness when I see it and this thread and all the people on it embodies it.:A
France was amazing and for a change I stuck to a clear budget and returned debt free still. :TKeeping my little pots of money in clearly marked food petrol etc envelopes helped as did having a wonderful daughter who understands!
I hope you are all thriving and I have been ogling the pictures of tea which didn't download abroad! Yummy! We got mad for couscous in France and DD Has perfected garlic mushroom couscous. Strong and lush!!
Will catch up tomorrow! It's lovely to be back with you all. XWith family, friends and pets (or any combination of them) life will be fine!

Mmmm garlic mushroom couscous - I'd like the recipe for that!
Crazy end to day, with a driver losing control of his vehicle and reversing into the side of our parked car, driving off and ramming into another parked car, then almost totalling a lady loading her shopping into her boot. His car only stopped when he drove into a wall. Whilst our car is wrecked, we just pray that the driver and his passenger recover as we think the driver was badly injured. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -

Good Morning :hello:
Question, how on earth can you wake up exhausted? When you've spent most of the night asleep? Urrghh!
Hopefuljoy - I consider myself told to staySo glad that you've clearly had an ace holiday and kept to budget. All boding well for the new start in Sept. eh?
Garlic mushroom cous cous - YUM
satchmo - thank goodness indeed that you are safe and that no innocent bystanders were harmed - although clearly shocked at such an episode. How on earth did the car go out of control? Speed? or did the driver have some sort of episode?
INOD - agreed
Beanie - ((hugs)) U
So, Wednesday already - WHERE is this week vamoosing to??
I did spend yesterday, as I remembered that we needed onions, so rather than just spend 23p on 2 onions, I got the TV guide tooHopefully a NSD will be mine, all mine today!
I didn't post a pic of 'me tea' - bobotie (the mix, not the true dish) is not the most attractive of things - meat or veggie version - being a tadge 'brown'. There was nothing interesting about a pile of brown lentils atop rice SIZE=1].....that doesn't usually stop you from posting a pic - greek chorus[/SIZE and the light made a carrp piccie anyway.
I've lost track of what is for dinner this evening. Can you tell I've woken up in a fug??? :rotfl: 'Tis DP's fault, I felt for sure he was at the bottom of the stairs calling me. I answered quite clearly, 'Yes?' - only to open my eyes and see him lay next to me....... odd
Come on, let's seize the day and make something of it
Thanks for popping by, reading, commenting, supporting other posters and for being, all round, good eggsYou know I appreciate it. Greatly.

Greying and chums have a great day.
Satchmo how dreadful glad you're OK and fingers crossed for the driver. Truely awful.
Hugest of hugs Beanie too.
Exhaustion must be catching as I'm tired-er (that's a word, right) than I was when I went to bed.
Suns out here hope it is for you all too.
Hope you catch that NSD Greying and the waking up fairy sprinkles some magic dust on your eyelids.
(or you find a suitable hot drink)
Happy Wednesday folks.
Off to the library to find a book......................:D
I read a wee interesting fact in NS - Vegetarians, like wot you are Greying, have an estimated 60% smaller carbon food footprint than those of meat eaters.
(I'm not veggie, but even ditching the meat a few times a week or just one meal has a huge impact the science says.......).
I'll shut up now.
Happy Wednesday folks.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Satch, glad you are ok, but rotten luck about your car. Hope that everyone involved/affected are getting better.
Nasty day out there, wind and rain. Looked at my age concern thermometer and it says 18* c turn up your heating! in August, l should cocoa, where's me cardie?
Have been sticking to the eating plan for nearly 4 weeks now, and the scales have ceased groaning when l venture on them, a total of 7 lbs loss, l may get into my first choice outfit for nieces wedding after all! She is coming to see me on Friday so that l can write out the place cards for the reception. I have my uses!0 -
Well done Mrs Invisible, 7lbs. Way heyayy!
Pippi and GP, I too was more tired when I woke than when I went to bed. What's that all about then? Zzzzzzz
Pippi, I love that veggies have a smaller footprint. We eat loads of veggie food and probably only a couple of days meat, so that's another reason for continuing. Thanks
Good wishes to everyone. And begone dam fug! :T
