Hi GP,
I'm back  Hope you had a splendid holiday. I've tried to catch up with posts but this thread moves pretty quickly!
We had lovely weather on our holibubs but came back to a fierce thunderstorm which disrupted everything electrical and it's still pouring down now. Floodwater all over the place but, at least, the computer is back on
Last night's 'nearly burnt' pizza still looks tempting, GP, yum!
We overspent quite a bit on holiday mainly due to DH wanting to eat out a lot  and the drinks at the only pub within walking distance were extortionate prices eg £4 for a 125ml glass of red wine...aaarrgh. I soon learned to make a small lemonade last...... At least DH paid most of it (from his own money) so the food budget didn't suffer but I still need to cut back a bit to re-stock the fridge & freezer now we are home. I will be tuning in daily for inspiration, dear friend, no pressure......:rotfl:
Hope you and DP are well, refreshed & raring to go!

GP, thanks for the linkie to the black eyed pea recipe, I'll be trying that (minus cucumber which I abhor).
On reading the foodie blog, I reckon that you, GP, dear friend-in-the-box, write a much better blog and you should look into kick-starting one as an income stream. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -
Loving catching up with your going ons, GP
That Buddha bowl photo from Thursday is making me very hungry..have dinner planned for this eve but it's Buddha Bowls for us tomorrow...yum:D Thanks for the inspiration
Hope you get that bike ride in. Great idea. Have just been out for a walk for half an hour. Cleared my head as well as got me moving...and I did some errands at the same time

Morning Greying:)
Thank you for your advice, I did taste & smell test and all ok ... went Greek for dinner made old favs and tried out a couple of news things - pleasantly surprised at how yoghurt can be used in a 'cheesecake' type pud and so much cheaper too - also loving dill and mint again and so will try the Kuku recipe today (mash will be interesting) - bought a bag of fresh broad beans Friday so ready to go go go
I like how you put it 'an extra Thursday and Friday' know that feeling too well lately ... So hope that you get your bike and torrential rain holds off

Hi Everyone :hello:
Got 'pooter probs.
Luckily the computer decided to play up whilst the menders was still open yesterday, so it's been dropped off. Likely hardware/software fail, rather than anything malevolent - the techie thinks
So a period of 'quiet' from me :j:j:j but i'll catch up soon.
Thanks for popping by and keeping the thread warm - mucho appreciated.
And YAY for community drop in points :j
