Throughout history animals that cause a nuisance have been culled, rats, badgers, rabbits, foxes to name a few. Cats are no difference. Keep them indoors or on your land and that is fine.Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -

Its a good job you're all talk and bluster, because as you can see from my previously posted links its illegal to deliberately hurt or kill people's cats.0 -

I think you'll also find it illegal to let your animal 'damage' somebody else's property.Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -

ah come on man, it's Friday night, everyone is allowed to be a bit wild on a Friday.
Except cats.

They hate the smell of Lemon-grass essentual oil and I mix about 25 drops in a spray bottle with water and spray the area-shaking the spray now and again...worked for me when I had cats spraying..its quite cheap --about £3.50I might be crazy but I'm not stupid....0

The cats...oh the cats. I have a small front garden and they have taken to crapping in the two small strips of soil where my beautiful flowers are.
So far we have used several store bought concoctions - pepper dust stuff, spray that smells like garlic and more powder stuff. Never worked. I got some lemons and sprinkled the juice and the skins, never worked.
I have just got home from work and am so enraged to find yet more crap in the garden I've emptied two bottles of lemon bleach on the soil. What else can I try?
Water - cannot do this unless I sit at the window 24/7. Its mainly when I'm work.
Dogs - got two bu they both hate cats and if either caught a cat in the garden, well the cat wouldn't live to tell the tale. Plus the front garden is not fully enclosed so they'd likely run off or get nicked lol
Sonic sound thing - cheapest I have seen is £30, reluctant to spend this as it will potentially get nicked.
Any other ideas? Will the smell of bleach put them off? I am tempted to try barbed wire next....
Hi, my Dad put's the dried stems from bramble bushes on areas where cats try to poop, e.g. his large flower troughs int he front garden. It works
So perhaps just go out to the country, find some bushes and cut some stems, cut those up into 20cm lengths and scatter them across your flower beds?0 -
Like there's nothing funny about letting an animal !!!! in somebody elses garden. I take it you've never had to clear cat !!!! out of your childs sand pit, or had to garden with gloves because you don't know what you'll come across in your own garden. Cage em or cull em.
On the contrary, as pet owners, most of us know exactly what it's like to clear up after animals - including wild ones. We just don't have a coniption at the thought of it.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
