the problem is, we don't want to harm them, we don't want them here in the first place, they are not our pets!

We love our pets, we groom them, bath them, feed them and walk them, we put them on a lead in public and don't let them worry wildlife, we pick up after them, both in our own gardens and in public and we expect other owners to do the same. A cat is no more a free spirit than a dog, it's just less trainable.

My dog is insured if she damages something, forbidden and prevented from invading or damaging someone else's property, and i am wholly responsible for her, the buck stops with me.

If cat owners felt and acted the same, we wouldn't have problems with them.

My vegetable garden is fenced off, even if i leave the gate open the dogs know that they aren't allowed in there, they sit by the open gate waiting for me to come back. Meanwhile, i'm cussing up a storm having just put my hand in someone's cat !!!! In my carefully tended seed bed.

We just ask that the cat people keep their animals in their gardens the way we do.

    :t exactly :t

Those ultra sonic cat things don't work. Here's a better solution, if you've got a water outlet.

May I add I'm not suggesting that you buy from that link its just the first one that came up.

No harm to cat but they won't come back for more.

You may as well ask for the moon on a stick. They are different species and cats cannot be trained in the same way that dogs can.

They are also very efficient climbers and it would be impossible for their owners to trail around behind them with a pooper scooper.

Except that there are fences in between all those gardens and it cannot "see" through the fence.
It will only be activated when an animal enters the garden it is situated in

Won't it be set off when the neighbours go in their garden?

So my cats will be scared out of their own garden every time the neighbours go outside?

The sonic 'noise' won't be stopped by a fence!

How exactly are cat owners supposed to train a cat not to poop in gardens? I'm actually genuinely interested to know.

Pouring any toxic chemical onto land and into watercourses is illegal. And for good reason.

What exactly did you hope to achieve, other than creating an environmental hazard?

Birds, foxes, rodents and thousands of other animals !!!! in your garden anyway, !!!!!!!

Um I seriously doubt I have thousands of animals in front my garden - its tiny.
