Half Day on a Friday

Hi All,

This perk seems to be quite prominent in my area although unfortunately I don't have it. Do many MSE's get it?

This question is more relevant to those working traditional hours rather than shift patterns.

Not so much a half-day for me. I take 45 minute lunch throughout the week and work 1 hour 15 mins less on a Friday.

Half day Friday? What? In the real world of business? NO! LOL

Not even an earlier finish in any job I have had,

That's the reaction I got when I mentioned it too but a lot of friends of mine are wrapped up at around 13:00 which I find crazy.

I used to work 7 to 3 monday to thursday and 7 to 1 on a friday but that was when i first left school 23 years ago, recently I have done all 3pm finishes doing a full 40 hours per week.

Can't really say that it bothers me about finishing a few hours early on a friday.

I wouldn't really call it a perk as we used to do 37 hours per week.

Never left a job early in my life. No one would do that really in business. Maybe they are manual workers?
