    Yes, that is genuine.

They don't need your bank details. You need theirs. Otherwise they will just empty your account when you next get paid.

    Funny that,

I got one this morning that went straight into my spam folder. Having NEVER signed up to them or any other Loan company, never even considered setting up an account with them or any other loan company and never even accidentally browsed a loan companies site.:D

I could say almost the same thing verbatim. I've never had a loan with them or even perused their website, so when I had a similar email I was initially horrified but then just reasoned it was phishing or a scam of some sorts.
    Hey you gender nectar;
    Crystalline from the vine.
  • Hi I'm hoping for some advice also please

I had a payday loan with quid quick for around £800
In march I emailed saying I couldn't pay and wanted to set a payment an up, they said I cannot do this until my payment had failed!?
So I rang the bank cancelled te Payment for QQ but was never told to cancel my card etc then on payday QQ cleared my account out for the full amount I rang them they said nothing they can do and I could have 20% off a new loan! The bank said I should of cancelled my card, I took another loan as I had no choice as money and then a few days later the amount QQ took had been returned by my bank I logged onto live chat with QQ and I offerd to pay a payment plan (before I knew the money was refunded) they set one up which would leave me skint for 4 months but least I thought I will be rid of them) it was for £291.32 for 4 months

Then they emailed saying I owed another amount
(Again before I'd checked the bank)
Once they informed me my payment had been retured I realised and they agreed to set up another 4 month plan to pay of the amount returned to me of £218x4

Iv made my 4 payments of £291.32 and about to start the £218 one but qQ then emailed saying I still owe 1 more £291.32
As my aug 2013 payment taken on the 28th was declined I rang the bank it was not declined and there are funds in the bank so QQ could of taken it again? I emailed them the reference number from the bank stating this they then said they would need to see my bank statement so I emailed it (minus the account number etc)
They then chaned the story and said it was my July 26th payment that declined the payments are taken on the 29th?? I checked back and it wasn't declined so again I emailed them the last 4 my tha of statements to proove all
4 payment had been made and the proof they could see it hasn't been retured to my account at anytime!

This morning they now sent me an email saying the £291.32 is 60 days overdue blah blah and to pay or they will pass to debt collectors

In the last emails they kept offering my differs payment plans for the amount £291.32???
Which I refused as iv paid it!
Iv emailed them today the statements again to support/collections/escalation @quickquid
So just waiting for another reply

Has anyone else had this much trouble and how did it end up I'm scared they will send people to the house!

Sorry for the long post! And advise would be appreciated!
  • Last night (25Feb 15) my wife got an email saying her recent application for a loan had been declined. This email looked genuine and I asked her to follow this up by phoning the tel number 0808 1011380 as we had NOT applied for any load. A woman answered the phone (American) and my wife advised her that she had not applied for the loan. The woman asked for DOB etc, but I had pre-warned her NOT TO GIVE ANY DETAILS.

This is a new scam and Quickquid needs closing down for these continued attempts of fraud.

Stay away from Quickquid and any attempts to divuge information to them, or you will certanly loose more than you bargained for.
