On the contrary, if you report it to Council food safety inspectors they would get fined for poor hygiene practices - it sounds disgusting and I certainly wouldn't want one in my roll..... So if you go and tell them directly, rather than reporting them, you are saving them a fine and doing them a favour, so the least they can do is say thank you appropriately....;)

No, they wouldn't get fined unless very poor practices were to be found there and then.
All the staff would be required to do is wear a hairnet. Although, lessen the risk of hair falling into an item theres no gaurentee that one might have been disloged on placing the hair net on the head, possibly be attached loosely somewhere then fall later. Also hair is very light and can easily float from another location.0 -
