Best case scenario:
They'll give you a refund, and possibley a bottle of wine or some flowers.
They'll send the food away and you might end up with a voucher at somepoint with a letter of appology.
Don't bank on getting huge sums of compensation...The money, Dave...0 -
Why would you want compensation?
What do you want compensating for?0 -
I didnt want to dive to only get a refund for 60p as it will cost me more than that in fuel, Also dont want more rolls. I was only taking about a few quid, Shelley0

I think the most you'll get is a refund on the price you paid.0

You'll get something for your trouble, after all you are alerting them to possible probems with a supplier or their instore bakery.
Just don't bank on getting much more than a £20 voucher.The money, Dave...0 -

Dont mean to laugh but. . . . ha ha!
Bet you wish you hadnt bothered looking for compensation!
and i dont mean that in an off manner0 -
Can't believe no-one's said it yet:
"There's a hair in my roll"
"Don't say it too loudly, everyone will want one"
I'll get me coat....0 -
I bought a prawn sarnie in Ainsley's in Leeds a few months ago and there was a thick black hair cooked right into it. I emailed them in disgust (I nearly ate the bloody thing!) and recieved £10 in vouchers, and an apology stating 'we have reminded our staff to wear their hairnets at all times'.
A hair in food *is* disgusting, in my opinion, and I was pleased by Ainsley's admittance and compensation0
