But if it changed it would indicate the stat was having some affect?, wasn't offering it as a cure, just a "decider" before further action.

;)Thats what multi testers and thermometers are for:eek::eek::eek: if you know how to use them and have diagnostic skills:whistle::whistle::dance:

This is essentially advanced plumbing - you might guess at the cause of the problem but we all know what assumption is the mother of . . . .

Don't guess, get a proper qualified wet plumber in to troubleshoot your system.

It could end up being something you have not thought of!

A good plumber worth their salt will be able to diagnose this in 15 minutes for you.

This is too complex to second guess on a forum (I am a plumber and I wont!) and if you call someone in you don't need to find out the problem yourself.

There is no way you can fix a problem like this yourself. You will more likely cause more harm that good if you try!!!!!
I was going to put the name of my plumbing business here so you know what I do should I give out any advice plumbing wise - however apparently I cant do that - go figure!!!!!
New signature - I am a Plumber (I am just not allowed to tell you!)

;)Especially if you use some of the methodology offered by some on here;)

However I would employ a heating engineer or RGI rather than a plumber, big difference between them ;)

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:You can't imagine the image I see now, maybe a "wet (behind the ears) plumber" was the actual initial problem:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Go on then mr T, define the difference, your ex trade doesn't seem to want to do that.

The fact escapes you that some of us industry guys that have dealt with this stuff in similar but even more potentially catastrophic situations, might just have a valid view point.

:DOh Dear we seem to have touched a nerve;)

And I DONT intend to define, or justify EVERY comment I make on here, theres a big wide world of google if you want to educate yourself:cool:

Caveat Emptor, but to the novice, bad advice is still bad advice, in which case it needs hands on experts, not internet guess work;)

And there lies the problem everyone has with you, you aren't God, and you do need to justify your comments.

    I'm done with this thread.
