It doesn't matter if it is legal or not to have a different address on your licence.
This insurance company requires that it is the same.
They could require you to have your car painted yellow if they wanted to, it is their business and if that is what they require for you to have their insurance then that is what you need.0 -
Indeed, and I would assume that the reason is the one I alluded to - it gives them a way of checking that the address you've insured the car at is the one you actually live at. Not a foolproof check of course, but better than no check at all, and it doesn't seem like a particularly unreasonable requirement to me.0
