They could have, but they don't have to. But that isnt what you said. You said getting them to pay the extra to keep their delivery date.
Mean? No. Bad customer service? Perhaps. Or perhaps just inadequacy in their system/procedures.
But bad customer service is best suited to the praise/vent/warnings board rather than consumer rights board. Even being morally entitled to something does not mean you actually have any right to it. So admonishing people for sticking to the law on a board where law is absolute, is really quite inane.You keep using that word.
