Everyone takes them for granted and treats them like dirt, they are low paid, many take no breaks during there rounds and carry bags way over weight.
Managers treat them like slaves.
Respect your post man/woman and they will respect you, treat them bad or complain and dont expect your post to turn up the next day.
At the end of the day I see the OP point, it's about postman/woman using some common sense. I don't know who you are talking about but my friend's husband who is a postman is paid around 21k, I wouldn't call that low paid. He isn't a manager, just a regular postman. No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!
Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T0 -
if there is a letterbox in the front porch door this is deemed to be the delivery point. if the door is closed, mail will be delivered to this point. if there is no letterbox and one is visable in the interior door the postie will open the door to deliver the mail to the delivery point ie the letterbox. if you have a letterbox in each door and the porch door is open by this I mean ajar then the mail will be delivered to the internal letterbox as this is the secure delivery point.
If your porch door is closed, mail will be delivered to this point as the postie will not try to open the door to see if this is locked.
hope this helpscracker challenge silver: £610/£1010.00 :jOne debt vs 100 days: 1000.00/0.000
