Cheers, was the underwriter, I didn't use a MA. Just did it myself.

what happened was after they (The halifax) recieved the valuation report, the underwriter hadn't picked up the email to get the offer pushed through. All I did was ring the progressions team twice and they sent the email to the underwriters to push it through and progress my offer, After this it took about 20 mins to get a call from them, all done,

so shouldn't take more than 2 weeks after valuation was done, well in my case anyways,

    thanks.

Called the Branch just now to check what's happening as my MA told me I should expect to hear from them today. The guy in the branch told me that my MA is on holiday, away for a week. Coming back next Thursday. All this time I've been worried sick, thot there was something wrong with my file.

    Waiting after another waiting.

    Fingers crossed.

Just received a phone call from Halifax saying my mortgage has been successful and the offer is on it way in the post. I'm so exciting!!

From Valuation to offer: 12 Days

From application to Offer: 1 month & 10 days.

My advise to whoever is still waiting is keep chase otherwise ur file is on the bottom of the queue.

    Good luck to u all!
