Morning all.


Sunny and bright here this morning but very cold - all the cars are completely covered with frost.


It would be a lovely day for a walk on Ashdown Forest but I think I'll take the option of lazing around indoors! We live close to Standen, the National Trust property and I was amazed to hear that they had nearly 400 visitors on Boxing Day.

Its so cold still and I think I will stop home again and keep warm. Looking out the window I can see huge funnels of steam coming from every central heating boiler.lol.

Morning all, seem I can't shake this tiredness over the festive period, all I want to do is sleep.

No snow here but cold and frosty. Popped out for a bit yesterday to return a couple of things, also got some prsents for next xmas in Accessorize for my friends girls, more than what I'd normally spend even with 50% off but very sweet. Had been thinking about hitting the sales today but seem to have missed that boat this morning.

Stay snuggly everyone, guess we're all lucky we can manage to put the heating on, feel for those who can't.

Kerri - sounds as though your body is telling you to slow down a bit. Enjoy the sleep - 2015 will be here soon and I am sure you will be off at your usual pace then.

Took her back last night, was lovely even though tiring.
Took DD2 for her theory driving test today - she passed
Snow still not gone but main roads ok.

Well done to your DD2 for passing her theory test, bet she was pleased as punch, its like an extra xmas pressie really. Sorry your FD kept you awake but you have a few days left before you go back to work to catch up on your sleep. lol.


I went shoppping yesterday and got a few pressies in tesco to put away for next year.

Still got ice on the ground here and so cold.

Still frosty here, plants are not looking very happy, even the spotted laurel is all droopy with the cold. Brrrrr. Hoping to stay in for NYE, wrapped up warm and cosy.

We were lucky today, had some rain and its washed away quite a lot of the snow and ice.

Snow has actually started melting now. Managed to glaze 3 sides of greenhouse today plus 1/2 of front. Only roof and doors to do!
