Easy day for me tomorrow as eating at our granddaughters. Have only had to provide the cake and brandy butter.


Off to the panto - Aladdin - this afternoon with our gt granddaughter. She managed to get up on stage last year & really enjoyed that. Hope there won't be a sad face if she doesn't get picked this year.

Had a great xmas at home, boxing day more greenhouse assembly lunch at pub and then loads of snow!
Enjoy the weekend. FB coming to stay again for a few days.

Had a great Christmas Day at granddaughters and the 4 under 5s were really good all playing together well.
Our gt granddaughter was given a face painting kit and some crayons that you use to colour hair. Most adults had to have their faces painted. I managed to avoid that but I still have streaks of pink and mauve in my hair today.
Don't envy you with the snow Jeferey - it's just wet, windy and rather cold here today.

Thanks Red, didn't have to drive anywhere just made snowmen, had a walk to local shop and had fun! FB loved it. I cleared drive and some of our road and neighbours finished IT off. Might venture out to a garden centre today. Very frosty this morning, take care everyone

Good morning everyone.

Our snow from a few days ago turned to ice and had frozen overnight. Luckily we had a couple of bags of salt and grit and my son put some down on our drive.

As the weatherman says the temperature won't go above freezing for at least 3-4 days the ice won;t melt so the roads and pavements are really slippery.

Looks like my heating will have to stay on and blow the cost.
