  • Good morning Jeferey and anyone else around.

I bet your oh will love her earings Jeferey and what a great saving too.
Bit cold for doing the garden atm with all this wind, rain, sleet and snow. My garden resembles a pond this morning, it is so flooded. Its rained all night and is totally waterlogged.

I hope so CW :) I haven't done anything in our garden today either!
We had a hard frost last night - everything white over. We went for a walk around a lake with FD and a FB who's staying for the weekend. Took nearly 3 hours but it was great as we were all wrapped up. She walked more than half of it!

    Good morning guys

Most of my cards now posted thank goodness, not a job I enjoy I have to admit. Also wrapped most of the presents yesterday. Just got to keep checking around the house as I buy presents all year round and stash them anywhere I can, then it takes a while to get them all out at xmas. lol.

I can't say I really enjoy writing xmas cards either but tried to make an effort this year to write a personal note in each, it was quite poignant crossing off all the people who have passed away this year, but nice to add a very old school friend whom I reconnected with this year. Makes you think.

Afternoon all, stamps purchased for cards (after 40mins in the post office!) loaves baked as xmas gifts (going to relatives on Wed) - looks like a loaf explosion in our kitchen atm, the first two sunk last night so made two more. After me making two test runs last week I'm a bit sick of date and walnut loaf so will palm one off to OH work and prob one to my DM tomorrow. Few more prezzies to wrap - now its the mammoth coordination of getting them to their various recipients - honestly, it's easy to herd cats!

Just over a week to go to the big event.....the JAN Sales! :rotfl:
